Delivery Costs (ex GST)

Sydney Metro, Blue Mountains, Wollongong,

Newcastle / Central Coast & ACT

A minimum order of $400 is required. If the order is between $300 and $400 a $35 delivery fee is required. We will not accept orders for delivery under $300 however we do accept pick up orders from our warehouse in Botany NSW.

NSW Regional

A minimum order of $500 is required and a freight charge of $65 applies. For orders over $1,000 a $40 freight charge applies. We deliver free for orders over $1,500.

NSW South Coast - Shellharbour to Narooma

A minimum order of $500 is required and a freight charge of $55 applies. We deliver freight free for orders over $1,200.

REDELIVERY & RESTOCKING FEE

A redelivery fee of $35 may apply if the original delivery was unsuccessful and a new delivery is required.

A restocking fee of $35 may apply for returns that are not due to a faulty product i.e. change of mind, entry error.

The purpose of these fees is to cover the costs associated with the redelivery, shipping, processing of return, inspecting and preparing items for resale.

Returns Policy

Any claims for credit including but not limited to claims for non-delivery or defectiveness of goods must be made in writing to The Fair Traders within 48 Hours of delivery, otherwise the customer is deemed to have accepted the goods and liable for payment of the goods. The Fair Traders is under no obligation to accept returns for stock damaged on your premises. However, goods may be returned if any foreign matter or other manufacture fault are present provided the Container is intact. Photos must be emailed to accounts@thefairtraders.com.au and on approval return authorisation will be issued. We will issue a credit for any substandard goods. We will not issue credits for partially used stock. From time to time we may offer sale or return on certain product lines. If this is the case, and the product is not moving sufficiently fast to sell before best before date we need to work together to clear the product. In order to qualify for a credit, we require photo evidence of a mark-down or other promotion within 2 weeks of expiry date. Credit requests must be received in writing or directly with your sales representative..

Damage, Defects and Loss in Transit

Any complaint concerning damage, short delivery, loss in transit or defect must be made within 48 Hours of the delivery. If the complaint is not made within that time, the Customer loses any right which the Customer may have had in respect of the complaint. Glass is not covered by third party couriers.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
